How does this even work?

Book an Appointment

Getting started is simple—schedule an initial consultation to discuss your concerns and determine if an ADHD and/or Autism assessment is right for you. Once booked, you’ll receive intake forms and questionnaires to complete before your evaluation.

The Evaluation

Your evaluation includes a comprehensive clinical interview, standardized testing, and self-report measures to assess cognitive patterns, executive functioning, social communication, and sensory processing. The process may also include collateral input from a partner, family member, or other relevant sources, if applicable.

Review Report

After the evaluation, you’ll receive a detailed report outlining the findings, diagnostic impressions (if applicable), and personalized recommendations. In a follow-up session, we’ll go over your results, discuss next steps, and explore strategies for accommodations, support, or further resources.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A psychological assessment for ADHD and Autism is a comprehensive evaluation designed to understand an individual’s cognitive, emotional, and behavioral patterns. It involves clinical interviews, standardized tests, and self-reports to determine whether a person meets the criteria for ADHD, Autism, or both.

  • An ADHD or Autism assessment may be beneficial if you:

    • Have struggled with focus, organization, or time management for most of your life

    • Experience sensory sensitivities, social difficulties, or challenges with change

    • Feel exhausted from masking or camouflaging your behaviors in social or professional settings

    • Have been told you are "too sensitive," "too intense," or "not trying hard enough"

    • Suspect you may be neurodivergent but never had the opportunity for a formal evaluation

    • Want a deeper understanding of how your brain works and why you experience the world differently

    • Need documentation for workplace or educational accommodations

    • Have a history of anxiety, depression, or burnout that may be linked to undiagnosed ADHD or Autism

  • If you experience challenges with attention, executive functioning, social interactions, sensory processing, or emotional regulation that impact your daily life, an evaluation may provide clarity. Many individuals seek assessments to better understand themselves, access accommodations, or receive appropriate support.

  • An assessment provides validation and insight into your strengths and challenges. It can open doors to workplace or school accommodations, therapy, coaching, or medication options. Knowing your neurodivergent profile can also help improve self-acceptance and provide a roadmap for personal growth.

  • I specialize in assessing adults only for ADHD and Autism. Due to limitations with assessment registries, standardized testing availability, and developmental factors, I do not currently offer evaluations for children or adolescents. Many psychological assessments for younger individuals require school-based input, pediatric-specific testing measures, and additional collateral from teachers or caregivers, which may not align with my current practice. If you are seeking an evaluation for a child or teen, I recommend consulting a specialist trained in pediatric neuropsychological assessments. However, I am happy to provide referrals to trusted professionals who focus on younger populations.

  • You may be asked to complete pre-appointment questionnaires or provide previous medical, educational, or psychological records. It’s also helpful to reflect on specific challenges and life experiences that prompted you to seek an evaluation.

  • The total cost of the assessment is as follows:

+Consultation (1 hour) $250: Answering questions and providing resources

+Sensory Profile $400: Questionnaire and 1-hour results plus feedback session, report, and resources

+Informal Assessment $750: 1 hour interview, 1-hour feedback session, confirmation letter for personal use

+Formal Assessment $1450: 90-min MIDGAS-2 assessment, 1-hour feedback session, comprehensive report, for some medical and educational accommodations

  • After the assessment, I recommend reviewing the report carefully and discussing next steps with me or another provider. Depending on your needs, this may include therapy, coaching, medication consultation, or lifestyle adjustments.
